Not a small world, just a small town ::

I went to Mark's East Side earlier today for the latest leg of the Tavern Tour. When I came in and sat down at the bar, there was one other guy there over at the other end. He looked vaguely familiar, but I couldn't quite place from where I knew him. I thought about it while I was eating and I listened in on his conversation with the bartender. Then, just as he was getting up to leave, I saw his face fully and heard his voice and it finally came to me: it was my ninth grade homeroom teacher. I didn't say anything to him, because it has been so long since the last time I saw him that I wasn't sure he'd even remember me anyway.
