Got up about an hour ago. I have sooooooo much to do today! I have to pack up everything and get it ready to be loaded up. Oh, and I have to have it all done before my dad gets home. If I don't, he'll flip. So why am I online instead of doing what I should be? Your guess is as good as mine.... Perhaps my last entry from Appleton for a very long time....

Just got done watching Torn Curtain. Hitchcock is definitely a new love of mine. Previous to that, I had gone to see Matt and Carrie. Matt wasn't feeling too well, so I went to watch Carrie bowl. We went back to their place and watched some tv. I rented 6 movies a week ago and have only gotten to see 2 thus far. I should like to see the other 4, but I just don't see time for it tomorrow.

On a totally different side note, has anyone seen the new Gateway commercial with Blur on the soundtrack? It's nice to see a company use Blur in their ads, but not be using "Song 2." That's all.

I slept until a little after noon and then got up and watched some tv. I started hauling all my stuff up from the basement and bought a floor lamp. I watched Jeopardy and Dial M for Murder and then we ate dinner. Not sure what is on tap for tonight, but it's my last real night here in Appleton. I have to pack up my computer and other things tomorrow and we'll be leaving early Friday for Minneapolis. I'm sort of looking foward to the move and sort of nervous. We'll just have to see how it all comes out.

Okay, my computer is once again fucked. I know most of you out there are really anti-Microsoft. There is really only one thing I hate them for - I can't believe they ever made a product as shitty as Windows 98. I've never seen a computer get more fucked than a computer running Windows 98. Of course, my computer is one of them. It's almost 5 am now, and I wasted an hour and a half just trying to get my computer to reset and load Windows. What a crock. Anyway, since I wasted all that time, I'll just have to go to bed now.

Somehow I managed to waste away an entire day just washing and waxing the Anti-Christ. I watched a little tv in there somewhere, but not that much. I worked my last night at the video store, getting out sometime around 12:30. I got gas at the new Express station (first time I'd ever been there - I miss the old Big Green Convenience Store. Then I went to GW and just hung out for a while, getting back here around 2. I read another chapter in The Count of Monte Cristo and decided to resume my online life for the night. The sound was so loud last night that my ear is still ringing.

I guess it's been a few days since the last time I updated. I wasn't really online much over the weekend, so that might make sense. Friday night we went bowling and some stupid little kids wanted to rumble with us over bowling ettiquite. Stupid fucks. Saturday night Matt and Carrie had their housewarming party and we watched American Movie. Didn't do much last night. Sat around today watching Doris Day movies. Tonight we drove up to Green Bay to see The Suicide Machines and Less Than Jake. Great show man. After the show, we stood around outside talking to one of the guys from The Suicide Machines about bowling, beer, and other good shit. Finally got home a little less than an hour ago. Ears are still ringing. Probably still will be in the morning too. That's something I haven't had in a long time, and even though I know it's not good, I still sort of miss it. Have to seriously start getting stuff ready tomorrow for the big move on Friday. If I don't, my parents will be bitching a lot. Tuesday night is also going to be my last night at te video store. After that, it's back to Minneapolis and the film society. Later Wiener Dude.

I had to work until close on Sunday night and then I grabbed a bite to eat at GW. I came home and was online until 3 am. I overslept, woke up at 11, and had to hurry out of the house. I finally got on the road at about 11:30 and I had to be in Minneapolis at 4. I really hauled some ass and only stopped once. After signing my lease, turning over my money, receiving my keys, and taking some measurements in my soon-to-be apartment, I drove across town to Molly's, from where we went to Burger King for some long-over-due dinner. I watched tv until 3 am and then hit the sack.

Tuesday, I got up and hit the road by 10:45. I made a few stops on the way home and arrived about 3:30. Went over to Jacque's, and she, Tricia, and I watched the Germany video and talked. I left at the same time as Tricia and came home for dinner. Went over to Matt and Carrie's for a while, and on the way home I drove passed GW and saw Trixie in there. I stopped in to talk to her for a bit, and Matt Harvey, Adam, and Zak all came there also. I guess it was a night of seeing people I had barely seen all summer. I reloaded AutoCAD on my computer after I got home and drew out the layout of my apartment before hitting the sack again. I slept until noon, at which my time my jerk-off brother decided to go in the bathroom and tie it up for an hour. I had to leave for work at 1:30, so I barely had time to get in there to shave before I had to go. I worked 2-10 today in Neenah again and stopped by GW again after work for some food. I know that's way more than you cared to know if you're even bothering to read this, but oh well.

Pretty damn good day! Liverpool beat Bradford City 1-0, Bayern München knocked off Bochum 3-0, and Chicago Fire came from behind to beat Los Angeles 2-1 tonight. I had to work 10-4 today in Neenah, but it went okay, and then I went to the family reunion (or atleast what was left of it). Went over to Matt and Carrie's, but there wasn't a whole lot going on there tonight, so I came home. Not like there is a whole lot going on here, but I didn't feel like imposing on them any longer. I almost am starting to look forward to heading back to Minneapolis and starting school again simply because Summer is getting really boring. I need a vacation from my vacation.

The lady from my building still hasn't called. I wish she'd call soon because people are waiting to hear from me. I've sat here all day waiting for her to call. I'm also surprised Caroline hasn't called yet because she said she and Wendy were going to call me today to hang out. Oooo... phone is ringing right now....

It was Katie from my building. Looks like I'm going to have to drive all the way back out to Minneapolis just to sign my lease and get my keys. Going there on Monday and returning home on Tuesday. Sounds like a great trip. Now I have to talk to Molly and let her know. I also picked up hours closing at the Menasha store on Sunday night. I have nearly a full work schedule next week just from taking other peoples' shifts. Well, I think I'm going to go out then tonight.

Got some food and watched the US-Barbados game. Now I've finally sobered up. Still waiting to hear back from the lady at my building. Work has been calling for me hoping I could fill shifts. Mom is ordering pizza. Time to jet.

Some would call me a lush. I'd have to disagree. I don't drink thatoften. I did last night though. Harvey and I finished off the better part of a case of Bud Light. Heh.. wonder how he's doing this morning... haha. I also got new shoes finally yesterday. Woohoo! New DC's! I always hate going into skate shops alone because the workers are a lot like music store employees. If you don't know what I'm talking about, either A) go to a music store and find out for yourself, or B) check out Jack Black's character in High Fidelity. Went bowling last night and I really messed up some good games. Ended up bowling a 181, a 156, and I think a 160 or 170 something. Lady from my building called this morning and said she needs me to come out there and sign the lease and give her money soon. What a waste of gas money and vehicle wear. Don't know why we can't conduct this operation via the postal service. Well, I need to brush my teeth, get some food in me, and lie back down. G'day.

I mowed the lawn this morning, knowing that my lazy ass brother would never even consider doing it. I wonder what he does when I'm not around to do all the housework for him. I also modified his AOL access so that he can't download anything anymore. Sucks to be him... hahaha. I also chatted with Wendy for a little bit this morning. First time I've talked to her in quite a while, and we even live pretty close by each other. Called Phisch and I guess he's doing okay. He has to go to the hospital tomorrow, so I hope everything comes out fine. Otherwise, it's just another Wednesday afternoon... deal with it.

The wait is over - I have my apartment. Yes, I move into my new apartment in Minneapolis on September 1. It's not far from downtown and only about a block and a half from Loring Park. Of course, I have no one to be jubilant with because everyone is either out of town, busy, or in a bitchy mood. So, here I am on my computer celebrating with myself. Could be worse.

I was going to buy new shoes today, but I never made it that far. We did go shopping, and I even got dragged along to the mall. Of course, the highlight of the mall was playing with the guns at Scheels. Maybe I'll go by myself tomorrow. There are only 2 places in town I know of that carry DC's - Boarderline and Area 51 - so I'll have to go to one of them.

I'm getting really sick and tired of deleting Napster off the family computer. That computer only has 1.6 gig hard drive and my dumbass brother fills up the little space there is on it with Napster and mp3s. Everyone who knows me knows how much I hate Napster, and yet that little MTV-watching, Korn-concert-attending, wannabe, jock moron insists on supporting them. Fucking polesmoker. I had even gone so far as to delete his screen names off of AOL tonight, but when I heard I got my apartment and also he brought me home some food from work, I was put back in a good mood and decided to reinstate his names.

Well, I suppose I'll ditch. Later blog reader.

I returned home from Minnesota last night. It's been too long since my last entry to update on everything that has happened. I'll find out tomorrow the results of my search for an apartment and with any luck I'll find out that the apartment that I really wanted will be mine. I don't want to say too much and jinx myself before it's definite, so I'll wait to say any more about that until I know for sure. I suppose in the mean time that I should go back to working at Family Video so I'll have a little more money when I return to Minneapolis. There are quite a few things I have to buy or prepare before I return and classes start on September 5. Here's to the beginning of a hectic few weeks.... Oh, one more thing... so maybe Mika has overtaken Schumi... the season is not over yet, and even though many people hate Schumi, I don't think there is any debate over him being a better driver. The only debate is over whether the McLaren is a better car than the Ferrari (which it, sad to say, is).

My search for affordable housing hasn't heated up much. I finally got someone to call me back and I have an appointment to check out an apartment on Tuesday. It's an apartment that I really want, but I don't know what my chances of getting it actually are. Outside of the apartment search, I've had a few things go on in the last few days. First of which was the auto incident. I was trying to jump Molly's car and I accidentally crossed the jumper cables. Luckily, the only damage it caused my car was a mark the wires left on the paint job as they melted down. There were sparks and smoke and we had to call the fire department. Yesterday we went bowling in some crappy little bowling alley in Falcon Heights and I bowled a 149, 155, and 203. It was unusual for me and that's about all I have to say about that. We went to Denny's last night and that was nice change. Then I was awoken this morning by a phone call from my mother. She called to say that my grandmother had gone in for emergency surgery last night to have her appendix removed. So, life could be worse.... Tonight we're going to go see King Django/Scofflaws at the Foxfire. Yep.

So, my search for affordable housing has been well short of successful. Have you ever seen Roger and Me? Well, search for affordable housing in Minneapolis is like Michael Moore trying to catch up with Roger. It's just crazy. Oh sure, there's plenty of available apartments here... and as soon as I'm a plastic surgeon I might be able to take out a loan to afford an efficiency. What a bunch of bull. And you know what else pisses me off? When you leave messages on people's voicemail and they don't bother calling you back. Bunch of pricks.

Okay, I'm sitting in Molly's room ready start my search for a place to live. I lied when I said that she lives in St. Paul. She actually lives in a dinky little suburb called Lauderdale. It's so small that she still has a St. Paul mailing address. The drive here went better than expected. Watching The Weather Channel before I left yesterday, they made it sound like I'd be traveling through storms the whole way here. Actually, I hit about 5 minutes of rain total the whole way - and that was all just light drizzle. We went grocery shopping last night and the grocery store was totally ghetto and very poorly laid out. Pop - dumb Minneasotans! It's soda! S-O-D-A! Soda! Tonight is the Queers show at the Whole. First Whole show since May. Okay, okay... time to start my apartment search. Until later, this is Krist live from Lauderdale signing off... haha.

WAY TO GO BARRICHELLO!!!

It's been a few days. Since then, Rubens Barrichello won his first grand prix and kept Ferrari ahead of McLaren. Congrats Ruben! In other news, I'm leaving for Minneapolis in the morning to find a place to live. My parents are completely worried. I'm surprised after all the trips and things I've been on that they're still worried. Oh well. I need to check my email and go to bed. In case I don't get a chance to update while I'm staying with Molly in St. Paul, it might be a week or so before you hear from me again.
