30K and Going Strong ::

Friday - it's finally here. It felt good not to have to get up and do anything this morning. I like it.

Carrie and I went to The Bar last night. Matt had to work until almost 9 again, but he joined us as soon as he got out. Driving around and heading home afterward my car rolled over 30,000 miles on the odometer. How exciting.

I guess today my brother's birthday. He's 19. Still has a year before he's no longer a teenager. I remember those three years between 18 and 21 - they were the worst. Not like my time until I turn 25 is any better. Insurance sucks.

Holy Shit! Paul Wellstone and his family died in a plane crash this morning.
The election is in less then 2 weeks. What are us democrats to do?

Blogger down? That's a first... haha.

Yeah, I first heard about Wellstone after my mom got home this afternoon. She went online and read it and asked if I'd heard about the Senator from Minnesota dying in a plane crash. I just thought What the fuck?! I asked her right away which one, and by then it was time for the national news to come on, so I ran in the livingroom and put the news on. That's just crazy. Thing is, he was a Democrat by party nomination, but he didn't really always follow the party line. I admire guys like he and Feingold so much, but now he's gone. Wow.
