Since I know you've all been sitting anxiously by your computers all morning hanging by a thread and waiting to hear how my interview went, I suppose I should indulge your curious nature. I should think it went extremely well. After arriving at the office, they had me fill out tax forms and then they gave me the standard typing, Word, and Excel tests. I did quite well on all 3. Then the woman who runs the agency took me back in her office and she interviewed me. Afterward she relayed 3 potential jobs for me: one is doing mostly data entry and mailings for an insurance company in Neenah (not my ideal choice, but a job's a job), one is as an administrative assistant at a small company in Appleton doing a wide variety of jobs (fairly similar to what I was doing at the film society), and one is working as an adminstrative assistant at a slightly larger company in Neenah, but apparently they already had people interviewing for that job. Ideally, I prefer the small company in Appleton, but as I said, at this point a job is a job. She said she'd relay my resume and the like to the companies and get back to me either tomorrow or by Monday at the latest.

Overall, just from what I've encountered so far, I'm much happier with this second staffing agency than I was with the first. The first seems too large and too concerned with their own advertising and public image. This second one is much more personal and personable. I just hope it leads to something, although I'm pretty sure it will.
