Yeah, I feel like a dumbass. I've been totally out of the loop lately, so I didn't even realize that Belle & Sebastian has a new album coming out. In fact, I learned this bit of news from a copy of Spin ganked off a plane while cleaning it last night. As soon as I read the review, I threw down the magazine, put some shoes on, and headed off as fast as I could to my local music store. After thoroughly searching two different music stores, I gave up and decided to go home. It was only after arriving home that I saw that I was looking at a November edition of Spin, and I found out from the B&S website that the album isn't being released until October 7. Yeah, I'm a fool. Of course, I also found out from the B&S website that they're going on tour also, and will be at the Congress Theatre in Chicago - the same place Molly and I saw blur this summer - on October 30. Hmm... a Thursday. It's getting tougher and tougher to get off. Why does there have to be so much going on now?! I had to trade hours to get off tonight to see AGSFB in Madison. I was invited to a wedding on October 11, but there's not a chance in hell I'll be able to get off. I'm going to Cali October 14-18. B&S in Chicago on October 30. And, yes, I wanted to get down to Madison on November 1, but that's looking less and less likely now. Shit fuck. Anyway, I'll think of something.

So, anyway, I should be leaving at some point within the next hour to head on down to Madison. I have to make a pitstop along the way in Oshkosh to pick up a copy of the study guide for our first exam in my class next Wednesday. Yeah, I still have that thing going on also. I've figured all along that the show wouldn't run too late tonight, and I certainly hope not, because I want to get back and party with the crew as soon as I can. Oh yeah.
