In some ways I'm happy that I don't have to be at work today while it's raining, but on the other hand, I hate having my days off ruined by rain. The rain just makes me even lazier and less ambitious. I've spent the better part of my day (or, at least, since I finally climbed out of bed) sitting around in front of the tv vegging out. I suppose that's not much different than if I had wasted the day away here in front of my computer, but at least if I were in front of the computer I might have been getting something done. Well, I guess it doesn't matter now, for what is done is done. I didn't go the whole day without accomplishing anything - I called and set up an appointment for tomorrow morning to have my car looked at and see if they can assess what the problem might be. I'm hoping that it's just something minor, but I know deep down that it isn't... and this could be expensive.

I'm meeting Carrie in just over an hour at Friar Tuck's for happy hour. I think she's mostly looking for the drinks, and frankly, I wouldn't mind a few myself, but I'm also interested in the food. I'm not totally sure why I'm sharing all of this with you, but I guess it's what I've always done.
