Do I Spend the Money? ::
It looks like it might not be such a bad time for them to ship me down to Memphis, as I see the Memphis International Film Festival is running March 27-30. While supremely inferior to my beloved Minneapolis/St. Paul International Film Festival, it doesn't change the fact that they're showing some interesting films. They're also doing the local premier of Levity, and Morgan Freeman will be present (the good one, not that jackass director Morgan J. Freeman) as they are honoring him and showing a retrospective of some of his films. Now the real question is, do I pony up the $75 for a festival pass, or will I not have enough free time to make it worth it?

It sucks that you can't go to the Twins game but well, I think I'd pick a week long trip over that anyway, even one for work.
Do you have to buy the full pass for the festival? The WI Film Fest is set up so you can pre order tickets for specific screenings - pretty nice. And its damn cheap. I think I am going to get 8 tickets for 17 bucks. Also, I just confirmed that there will be a Milwaukee International Film Fest for the first time this fall.

No, one needn't purchase the full festival pass. I've already decided though that it wouldn't be worth my money anyway. I looked over the full list of movies and realized that if I want to go to any of the movies I'm better off just paying the $5 per film.
