What a Wonderful Night ::

I just got home from another night out on the town. I went to meet Corey at the airport only to find that he had gotten out at 3. I drove over to house and found him just leaving to go to a camera store at the mall. I rode with him over there so he could get the part he needed. Then we drove down to Jeff's in Oshkosh and hung out for awhile. Jeff was still up from yesterday as part of some ridiculous personal experiment he was trying, while Chris and Mike were still up from having played "SOCOM" for over 20+ hours straight. We stuck around for about the first hour of "Saturday Night Live," gave Pete a ride home, and then came back to Appleton. We scoped out the bar scene downtown and then decided to give the Cinderella a chance. How cool can one bar be?! We spent the night downing $1 mugs of beer (I drank Old Style while Corey sipped PBR) and eating peanuts. They have signs telling the patrons to please throw their peanuts on the floor. The regulars sat in their stools or worked the slot machines. I was actually disappointed not to see mounted fish and deer heads among the wall decor. The look everyone gave us when we first walked in was tantamount to the first time we walked in to the Polish Palace. It was like, "Who the hell are these jokers?" Of course, eventually we just blended in with the wood panelling-covered walls like the rest of the barflies. Man, it was awesome.

You should have been there when Deann, Anya and I dared to shoot pool at Breaking Point in West Allis.
