This Place Sucks ::

Day 3 of the Great Appleton Experiment and I'm already bored out of my fucking mind. I'm sitting here in my bedroom on a Tuesday night with not a thing to do. About the only to do is to clean something. There's nothing worth watching on tv. There's nowhere to go. Everybody is either out of town or they don't feel like doing anything tonight. Blah blah blah. How the hell am I supposed to put up with 12 months of this? At this rate I'll be lucky if I last a month.

I made strides today toward finding a job, which would occupy at least part of my day. I called the staffing service this afternoon and set up an appointment for Friday morning. I have to bring with me my resume on paper and disk, 2 forms of ID, and 2-3 business references. I hope they don't mind that none of my references will be local. I'm bored, I'm bored, I'm so bored, I'm bored.
