Changing Priorities
March 21, 2011 @ 9:56 AM
There’s a very good excuse for why you don’t hear much from me here anymore — it just isn’t high on my priority list. The older I get, the less interested I am in broadcasting every minor detail of my life to an unfiltered public. I can limit access to my Facebook account, and virtually nobody knows about my Tumblr (and, no, you don’t get to know it either!), but this blog is out there for everyone to find and read, and in this modern world where everyone from potential employers to potential dates runs a Google search on you, I’ve just lost interest in broadcasting my life online.

I’m not really sure what direction this blog should take now. Should I even bother pretending to maintain a blog here anymore? The site itself won’t be going away any time soon because I still use it for numerous private purposes (such as my customized, personal start page and my online media catalog), but I’m undecided what to do with the public portion of the site. I guess if you check back here regularly you’ll know what I decide to do once I’ve decided to do it.

Thanks for checking up on me!

k!
