A theatre to myself ::

I went to the cinema this afternoon to see Saved! and ended up having the whole room to myself. In fact, the guy at the box office was confused when I first told him which movie had come to see. Apparently, it must not be too big of a hit around here. I understand that everyone needs to see the big blockbusters before the next set get released, but frankly, they're missing a pretty good movie by skipping Saved!.

The most bizarre thing was actually the trailers shown before the film. Who were they targeting? Being the only one in the theatre, I would have to assume the target audience was... well... me. I wasn't impressed. They showed a different version of the trailer for Anchorman than the one we've all seen 10,000 times already, but that seemed to be the only movie I would actually see. De-lovely looks good in an artistic sort of way, but nothing I would blow $8 on, while the other films were just confusing or stupid. I don't get it.
