It looks like tonight is starting to shape up as a pretty lame New Year's. I haven't heard back from M&C yet again, but as far as I know, they're going to some private part at some dive of a bar. As my parents are hosting my aunt and uncle this year (they usually take turns, but I'm not sure at what point they got off), that means I can't throw a party here. My only other option appears to be to go down to Oshkosh with Corey. I'm told that Erik is driving up from Chicago and ought to be to Jeff's by about 10. While I don't doubt that a party at Jeff's could be okay, I imagine it being fairly lame. For one, the house is already trashed. For two, those guys rarely do anything other than watch tv or play video games. For three, I think most of them are more interested in doing drugs than drinking. For four, Corey, Jeff, Erik, Mike, and Chris can be cool, but I'm the jury is still out on Pete and I don't particularly like Jay (both of whom are more than likely going to be there). I don't know. As Corey said, if nothing else, it's better than staying home and watching tv. You never know, maybe these guys can actually get out and party once in a lifetime.
