What Are the Odds? ::
The University of Minnesota's football team is 7-1. The Green Bay Packers are 6-1. Both teams have a bye this weekend. Both teams return next week to take on tough opponents (Minnesota plays Ohio State, while Green Bay plays Miami). Think there's any possibility that both will still only have 1 loss after next weekend?
And then there's high school football. Once again this year, Appleton North got paired up with D.C. Everest in the first round of the playoffs. Every fucking year! D.C. Everest! How come North gets stuck with Everest every year while other schools get to take on all these chump teams? I think something needs to be "repaired" in the way the draw is done for match-ups, because right now it seems like the draw is already "fixed."
